The Stonewall Sport Saddle has a low profile swell and flat seat to help you negotiate steep trail. Lightweight at 16 lbs. the Sport is the saddle of choice for accomplished trail riders.
The Sport is built with the same construction methods as the distance proven Stonewall Classic. The flat seat allows you to adjust your body position as terrain or time demands. The free swinging stirrups will help keep the ache out of your joints, and the light weight will be appreciated, especially at journeys end.
FEI rider Sue Lord Haveruk (left) unexpectedly took the prototype Stonewall Sport saddle on its maiden endurance ride at Descanso CA this past June, when at vet-in, her horse Legend was found to be back sore from a treeless saddle. Fortuitously, we found the Sport was a perfect fit for Legend after measuring him with the Card System, and Sue made the decision to ride the 25 mile LD rather than scratch from the ride.
The results were impressive - tying for First Place, elimination of post race cramping, vet comments of an improved back score, and a happy teammate.
