Advanced digital pressure sensing from the medical world, allows us to see what the horse is feeling under saddle.  The mapping below shows pressures not exceeding the yellow band set at approximate mean arterial blood pressures.  Exceeding this range constantly over a period of time causes tissue damage, typically resulting in white hair patches on the horse's coat.
